The Institute for Mass Media has collaborated with the Cyprus Committee for Media Ethics in shaping the agenda of this year’s annual general meeting of AIPCE (Alliance of Independent Press Councils of Europe) to take place in Ayia Napa on October 19-21. The closed conference brings together more than 40 representatives from ethics councils and committees in Europe and will examine the ethical issues that arise for media in the digital age, how press council operations are affected as well as the new European Media Freedom Act.
