The Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom has released its annual Media Pluralism Monitor for the 27 Member States of the EU and five candidate countries. The MPM is a research project that evaluates the current threats to the media landscape in Europe and with its CMPF team and 32 Country Teams analyses 200 variables for four major areas: Fundamental protection, Market plurality, Political independence and Social inclusiveness.
